We recently had Zenz Buildings Inc. construct a new building for our growing business. We were pleasantly surprised in the timely fashion in which it was constructed. I first contacted Jim Zenz about 4 years ago concerning an estimate for a new building. He was very prompt, courteous at that point in time, also professional. I again called him after a major fire/loss of my shop. He still had the old plans and he worked with me very professionally revising the plans to help with the new building. Building delivery was right on time, crew was right on time, very professional, courteous and fast. Had one small problem with building after completion, called Jim and he was out next morning to correct problem. I am very pleased with the building, with professional manner of Jim Zenz and his crew. I could not express my feelings any higher, nor would I ever recommend anybody higher than Zenz Buildings.

I am certainly glad I learned about Zenz Buildings. Jim’s knowledge and experience answered all of the construction questions I had. (bldg. permit, site concerns, sizing requirements, fascia lengths, color choices, wainscoting, door layout, etc.) He showed pictures of other completed buildings with different options and described their advantages and disadvantages. This discussion with pictures also helped my wife visualize the mental image. The building crew started on time and completed the building as scheduled. Attention to detail is a true attribute of their craft skill; they were finicky in every aspect of construction. The final product was flawless and I will recommend Zenz Buildings to anyone in the market for a quality, first class structure.

When I formulated plans for my new garage/shop/studio, I called many different builders and received a variety of estimates. I decided to go with Zenz Buildings for two reasons; the fair price for a quality building, and the low-hype attitude of Jim Zenz himself. I wanted to send you a note of thanks for the very nice job you and your crew did at our property, building our barn. We were very pleased with the time and effort you took in both the planning and building stages. Your taste and experience helped to construct a building that we are very proud and excited about. Your foreman was a big help to George during the actual construction of the barn, as were you throughout the entire project. Many of our friends have been very complimentary when we have emailed our pictures out to show them the progress. We are thrilled at how nice it looks! The cupolas on the big barn, as well as the shutters have tied the two buildings together quite nicely. When Paul and I decided to build a horse farm, we talked to several builders. We had four different friends who had worked with Zenz on their horse buildings. They all recommended Zenz Buildings for the same reasons - quality of work, the efficiency and professionalism of his crews, their attention to detail and the great value.

We toured many farms in an effort to educate ourselves. We talked to the owners about their experience working with their builder. After comparing quality and price, we chose to work with Zenz Buildings. We appreciated that his price did not include expensive marketing programs, a large sales force or extensive overhead.

Jim and his crew made the project easy for us. Jim communicates thoroughly and frequently so there were no misunderstandings. His crew showed up early in the morning and they had an efficient system for getting the work accomplished. In addition, they are very talented craftsmen. I was able to show them pictures of ideas from other barns and they managed to replicate it perfectly. The quality of the work was superb and they always had creative solutions to addressing our needs. Every Zenz employee we encountered had a high standard of workmanship and showed a real passion for excellence. We appreciated how Jim and his team responded to the many changes we requested midstream. They have a “can do” attitude and get the work done in a proficient manner.

When we decided to build a horse barn and indoor arena on our property, I thought it would look like a basic, plain looking steel building in our backyard. But with Zenz Buildings, we ended up with a beautiful structure that blends perfectly into our prairie setting. The barn is so much more beautiful than I had anticipated.
